Hot Feet

Book by Heru Ptah. Music and Lyrics by Maurice White (Earth, Wind and Fire), with additional music and lyrics by Cat Gray, Brett Laurence, Bill Meyers, Heru Ptah and Allee Willis and featuring songs by Fernando Brant and Milton Nascimento. The original Broadway production opened on 30 April 2006 with direction and choreography by Maurice Hines. The production closed on 23 July 2006, running for 97 performances.

Synopsis and Musical Numbers

Kalimba, a beautiful young dancer, gets involved in a Faustian bargain when she is persuaded to dance in a pair of enchanted red shoes in a modern retelling of The Red Shoes, a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
